Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of the MarginLens Chrome extension, this website and the related subscription service (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Dragon Group, Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”, “us”). By installing or using MarginLens you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What MarginLens does
MarginLens is a Chrome extension. When you select a price on a web page, it calculates the GST amount, your landed cost, and a suggested selling price based on the GST rate and margin you set.
2. Calculations are estimates, not advice
MarginLens performs arithmetic using the prices, GST rate and margin that you provide. It is a convenience tool. It is not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice. You are responsible for checking GST rates, invoices and prices before you rely on any result for a business decision, an invoice or a tax filing.
3. Free trial
New users can try MarginLens for 20 lookups after verifying an email address with a one-time code. One free trial is available per person. We may refuse or end a trial if we detect misuse, such as creating many accounts or email variants to obtain extra free lookups.
4. Subscription and payment
- After the free trial, continued use requires a paid subscription of ₹99 per month, as shown on our Pricing page.
- The subscription is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges through Razorpay.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- If a payment fails, your access may be paused until a successful payment is made.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation and refunds are covered in our Cancellation and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Your account
Your access is linked to the email address you provide. You should keep access to that email address. A subscription is for your own use and may not be shared or resold.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) bypass or interfere with the free-trial limits or the subscription checks; (b) attempt to disrupt or overload our servers; (c) copy, resell or redistribute the extension; or (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Changes and availability
We may improve, change or discontinue features. We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We will give notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.
9. Intellectual property
MarginLens, its design and its code belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the extension for your own business while you comply with these terms.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from decisions made using the calculations. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the extension and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
